Programe We Did In Tibet: 8 days private Lhasa tour

Your Comments:

Hello,
My husband and I visited Tibet Aug. 8-15, 2011.  Our guide Pasang from your company was very knowledgeable about Tibetan Buddhism.  We appreciated his teaching us what he knew and taking us to the various Monasteries and Temples.  We were very impressed with the Tibetan people we met during our visit.   My husband and I travel in order to see/feel/hear the local people.  Our goal is always to understand the people wherever we visit.  While I am aware that we were only in Tibet for a short time and only visited a small part of it, we felt we gained a greater understanding of the Tibetan people.  It is a very unique and beautiful culture and we are thankful to Pasang for helping us understand it better.
I would like to comment on Yabshi Phunkhang Heritage Hotel.  It is a lovely Tibetan hotel.  The room was very good.  It had lots of space, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped.  The breakfast however needed an upgrade.  There was little selection for breakfast.  We did stay one night in the Yak hotel and their breakfast included a good selection of fruit, cereal, yogurt, eggs, meat and toast ( a buffet).
I would hope that the tourist industry in Tibet will encourage Tibetans to expand their outreach in terms of entrepreneurial activities.  People from all over the world should be encouraged to go to Tibet and see many places and talk to many people;  then they can tell the world how unique and worth saving is the Tibet I saw, felt and heard.

Best regards,
