Details for this tour as below:
 
Jul 6 Day 01 Arrive Lhasa airport. Transfer to Tsedang (visit Zodang Gogpori Caves)
Your guide and driver will meet you at the airport, and then we will drive to Tsetang direcly, the third largest city in Tibet. Visit Zodang Gogpori Caves, to get your first impression of Tibet.

Day 02 Visit Tradruk Temple, Yumbu Lakhang Palace, Samye Monestary. Drive to Lhasa
We will cross the widest part of Yarlung Zangpo River and visit the first Monastery in Tibet Samye Monastery, 2 hours on a local boat just to cross the River and another half an hour by local tractor or truck to finally reach Samye. A birds eye view down from the Yungbulakang Palace, an amazing architectural site perched on a cliff give you most wonders of how ancient Tibetan People live in such a peaceful wide open valley. A visit to Tibetan kings tombs, the massive burial grounds and unique antique looking Tanddruk Monastery leave you a dream of its passed glory. It is one of the oldest buildings in all of Tibet!We will get back to Lhasa for night today.

Day 03 Visit Jorkhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Sera Monastery in Lhasa
On this second day morning we will take an easy visit to Jokhang Temple. This temple is the most revered shrine in all of Tibet and is constantly bustling with devout worshippers. We will also be given the opportunity to shop in Barkor, the crowded central market of Lhasa. In the afternoon we will visit is Sera Monastery, a fifteenth century sprawl of golden roofs and whitewashed walls. This well preserved monastery is located just a few miles North of Lhasa and is home to several hundred monks. its famous debating activities are happening 3-4pm quite regularly every day, so remind our guide not to miss it.

Day 04 Visit Potala Palace, Drepung Monastery in Lhasa
A trip to Tibet would not be complete without experiencing the vital Potala Palace. This palace is Lhasa's cardinal landmark and is a wonder of Eastern architecture. Your first site of this massive structure will be a magical moment remembered for years to come. It has been a palace since the fifth or sixth century and was once home to the Dalai Lama. This truly amazing day will ended with a visit to the Drepung Monastery. Once the world's largest monastery, housing 10,000 monks, Drepung monastery lies hidden in rocky ridges just beyond the city. Surprisingly much of the building was left untouched throughout so many hundred of years.

Day 05 One day tour to Gandan Monastery and Drak Yerpa Meditation Cave, you can have half day hiking there
Gandan Monastery - the first Gelugpa Monastery. Although this monastery has been destroyed over the years, there is still much to see. Many pilgrims walk the kora around this holy place and one can observe their many rituals along the way. And also you will visit the holy caves Drak Yerpa, which is one of the holiest caves in Lhasa area.

Day 06 Drive to Namtso Lake, stay overnight at the guesthouse near the lake, enjoy the sunset
Namtso, one of the 4 famous holy lakes in Tibet, is amazing and travelling here is needed experience, none of our guests has never complained for it. You are going to bypass the great grasslands, sightsee so many Tibetan Shepherds, experience the clean and great holy lake...

Day 07 Explore Namtso and Taskidor Hermitages, then drive back to Lhasa
Today we will spend the whole morning exploring Namtso Lake and Taskidor Hermitages. Sunrise is amazing, you can climb up to the top of the small mountain to get a better view. We will get back to Lhasa in the afternoon.

Day 08 Drive to Yamdrok. Explore Yamdrok. Continue driving to Gyantse. Visit Pelkhor Chode Temple, Gyantse Dzong and Gyantse Kumbum.
Today we finally begin our journey along friendship highway. One of the first sites we will see while traveling along the majestic Friendship Highway is the Khamba La Pass. The breathtaking view at Khamba La allows one to see all the way to the summit of Nazin Kang Sa, turquoise coloured Yamdrok Lake. Truly an amazing view! While continuing westward we will travel over the Karo La, a high pass surrounded by stupendous glaciers. The rest of the day will be spent enjoying the many magnificent valleys and exquisite Tibetan villages we pass through. The day will end in the town of Gyantse. We will spend the night in a hotel in this historical city.

Day 09 Drive to Shigatse, visit Tashilunpo Monastery, then drive to Sakya, visit Sakya Monastery. Stay overnight at Sakya
Only 90 km driving takes us to the second largest city in Tibet. Shigatse is a laid back city that provides excellent opportunity for both relaxation and exploration. We will explore the local market and the Tahilhumpo Monastery. Tahilhumpo Monastery is one of the largest functioning monasteries in Tibet and was able to last through the Cultural Revolution nearly unscathed. It is a great pleasure to spend some time exploring the busy cobbled lanes twisting around these ancient buildings.

Day 10 Drive to Rongbuk Monastery, stay overnight at the tent near EBC.
Today we will drive to Rongbuk from Sakya directly. Our four wheel drive vehicles will takes us South towards the main Himalayan range while passing over Pang La. The view from the top of Pang La is truly stunning. One is able to see all the way from Makalu to Shishapangma. In the afternoon we will descend into the Rongbuk valley and Everest will jump quickly into view. This is your first chance to catch a glimpse of this awe-inspiring mountain. We will spend the night at the Gompa Guest House.

Day 11 Explore EBC. Drive back to Shigatse in afternoon.
From the arrival day till today you will have the best view of Mt. Everest in any way. Get up earlier and enjoy the stunning view of the mountain Himalayas and maybe the sunrise if weather permits. Have a stop in Rongbuk Monastery (optional visit, self-paid), the highest monastery in the world. Then we will drive back to Shigatse city, upon arrival, leisure time at your disposal.

Day 12 Drive back to Lhasa
Today early breakfast and drive back from Shigatse to Lhasa, for the purpose of catching the famous debate sessions of the monks in Sera monastery, which was created in 1419 and has always been an important Buddhist seminary. As rose are planted everywhere in the monastery, it is also called “the court of wild rose”. Today there are still 200 lamas live in there.

Day 13 Finish this unforgetable tour
Free time in the morning, after lunch take the departure transfer and see you off. Tour services end and Tibet always welcome you back forever.
