Detail Itinerary:
DAY 01 ARRIVAL IN LHASA
Once you arrive at Gonggar airport or Lhasa Train Station, an easy one hour or half hour drive will take you to your hotel. The remainder of the day can be spent relaxing and exploring some of the many sights in Lhasa. Better to drink some water and have a good sleep for next day’s holy sightseeing excursion.
DAY 02 IN LHASA
A trip to Tibet would not be complete without experiencing the vital Potala Palace. This palace is Lhasa's cardinal landmark and is a wonder of Eastern architecture. Your first site of this massive structure will be a magical moment remembered for years to come. It has been a palace since the fifth or sixth century and was once home to the Dalai Lama. And go for a tour to world heritage site of Jokhang Temple, This temple is the most revered shrine in all of Tibet and is constantly bustling with devout worshippers. Then We will be given the opportunity to shop in Barkor, the crowded central market of Lhasa.
DAY03 LHASA - GYANTSE [3950m] - SHIGATSE [3900m]
In the morning drive to Gyantse along the Kyichu River. On the Kamba La (4.796 m) have a fantastic view of the holy lake Yamdrok, one of the three holy lakes in Tibet and the largest habitat of waterfowls in south Tibet. Then continue to Gyantse, you can enjoy Ningjinkangsang Snow Mountain and Karola Glacier from a distance on the way as well. Upon arrival in Gyantse, have a stop in Palkhor Temple for around one hour, if you would like to have a visit (self-paid), you could go and the guide will be with you. If you don’t, you could stroll in this ancient town at leisure. After that, continue to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet, have the view of the famous fertile farmers’ land.
DAY 04 SHIGATSE [3900m] - TINGRI [4390m] – EBC [5200m]
In the morning the guide takes about some time to issue the group the second travel permit (PSB) or the guide may do it on the arrival day if time permit. The PSB permit is a must travel document for the visit to Mt. Everest. Then visit Tashilumpu Monastery. After the visit, drive further in to the mountains to get to Mt. Everest Base Camp via Tingri. The road condition to the Base Camp is rough; stay overnight at Rongbuk Guesthouse, the accommodation tonight is a little simple.
DAY 05 EBC [5200m] - SHIGATSE [3900m]
From the arrival day till today you will have the best view of Mt. Everest in any way. Get up earlier and enjoy the stunning view of the mountain Himalayas and maybe the sunrise if weather permits. Have a stop in Rongbuk Monastery (optional visit, self-paid), the highest monastery in the world. Then we will drive back to Shigatse city, upon arrival, leisure time at your disposal.
DAY 06 DRIVE SHIGATSE BACK TO LHASA
Today early breakfast and drive back from Shigatse to Lhasa, for the purpose of catching the famous debate sessions of the monks in Sera monastery, which was created in 1419 and has always been an important Buddhist seminary. As rose are planted everywhere in the monastery, it is also called “the court of wild rose”. Today still 200 lamas live in there.
DAY 07 FINISH THIS UNFORGETTABLE TOUR
Free time in the morning, after lunch departure transfer to see off, tour services end and Tibet welcome you back forever.

Day 1 - Arrival in Lhasa by train or air
Once you arrive at Gonggar airport or Lhasa Train Station, an easy one hour or half hour drive will take you to your final destination of the traditional Dhood Gu Hotel, The remainder of the day can be spent relaxing and exploring some of the many sights in Lhasa.
DAY 02 - In Lhasa
On this second day morning we will take an easy visit to Jokhang Temple. This temple is the most revered shrine in all of Tibet and is constantly bustling with devout worshippers. We will also be given the opportunity to shop in Barkor, the crowded central market of Lhasa. In the afternoon we will visit is Sera Monastery, a fifteenth century sprawl of golden roofs and whitewashed walls. This well preserved monastery is located just a few miles North of Lhasa and is home to several hundred monks. its famous debating activities are happening 3-4pm quite regularly every day, so remind our guide not to miss it.
DAY 03 - In Lhasa
A trip to Tibet would not be complete without experiencing the vital Potala Palace. This palace is Lhasa's cardinal landmark and is a wonder of Eastern architecture. This truly amazing day will ended with a visit to the Drepung Monastery. Once the world's largest monastery, housing 10,000 monks, Drepung monastery lies hidden in rocky ridges just beyond the city. Surprisingly much of the building was left untouched throughout so many hundred of years.
Day 4 - Fly to Kathmandu or get to China side by air or train

Day 1 Your Tibetan English speaking guide and the driver will meet you at Ghongkhar Airport, and transfer you to Lhasa city with about one hour driving (65 km).You'll get greeted by Nie Tang Budda- a Budda image engraved in the mountain face. After arrive in Lhasa, check into hotel, rest for acclimatization.
Day 2 Morning visit: The first day sightseeing begins with Lhasa's cardinal landmark- Potala Palace, a structure of massive portions. Its towering image already appearing on various occasions, but your first sight of the Potala will still be an awe-inspiring moment. It takes at least a good 2-hour to visit those rooms, halls and chapels.
Afternoon visit: Some 2km to the east of the Potala is the most revered religious structure in Tibet- Jokhang Temple. Bustling with worshippers and redolent with mystery, the Jokhang is an unrivalled experience. The quadrangle of streets surrounding the Jokhang is the Barkhor- Lhasa's most interesting pilgrimage circuit. This area of the Old Town is both the spiritual heart of Lhasa and the main commercial district for Tibetans.
Day 3 Today we are going to visit Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery.
About 8km west of central Lhasa is the Drepung, once world's largest monastery with about 10,000 monks. This day's sightseeing begins with these white monastic buildings piled up on the hillside. Walking up to the hill is a pleasant thing, an easy break from the solemn ambience inside the halls and chapels. At the plat roof of hillside, you can have very good views of the whole Lhasa city and the distant mountains.
Drepung is one of Lhasa's two great Gelugpa monasteries, the other is Sera. Around 5km north of central Lhasa, Sera may not be as grandiose as Drepung, but is more serene surrounded by many small temples. The 'Buddhism Scriptures Debating' in Sera is very famous.
Day 4 Today we will go through the Gangpo Ri Mountain on the way to Tsethang cross the widest part of Yarlung Zangpo River and visit the first Monastery in Tibet Samye Monastery, 2 hours on a local boat just to cross the River and another half an hour by local tractor or truck to finally reach Samye. The day will end in the third largest city of Tibet, Tsethang. we will stay in the best hotel in town Tsetang Hotel.
Day 5Visit The Valley of the old civilization, Yarlung Valley, This majestic area is widely believed to be the cradle of all of Tibetan civilization, the birth place of Tibetan People. A birds eye view down from the Yungbulakang Palace, an amazing architectural site perched on a cliff give you most wonders of how ancient Tibetan People live in such a peaceful wide open valley. A visit to Tibetan kings tombs, the massive burial grounds and unique antique looking Tanddruk Monastery leave you a dream of its passed glory. It is one of the oldest buildings in all of Tibet! You will spend your last night sleeping well back in Tsethang.
Day 6 Pack your luggage and get ready for leaving. The guide will transfer you to the Lhasa Ghongkhar airport, and help you board the plane. Say goodbye to Tibet and fly out.
